About

Joe Fox, MS, MAT, LPC

Joe has a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas. He also has a Masters of Arts degree in Education from Georgia College. He utilizes Existential Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, DBT, CBT, Logotherapy, Evolutionary Psychology, and Client-Centered Therapy.

Joe has eight years of previous experience as an engineer in commercial construction, and also taught middle and high school for two years. His passion has always been in cognitive and behavioral science, which combined with a drive to help others, led to finding his true calling in psychology and counseling. This exploration only became more fruitful by synthesizing modern neuroscience with millennia’s old philosophy, beliefs, and traditions, in order to deepen each person’s perspective to better match the depth and vastness of human experience.

At Convergence Counseling, Joe works with a wide variety of clients who may be seeking guidance with: Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Life-transitions, Emotional Regulation, Grief & Loss, Substance Issues, among others.
